Welcome to St Paul’s Moss Vale! As a community-focused Catholic parish primary school nestled in the beautiful Southern Highlands, we are incredibly proud of the vibrant, faithful, and compassionate environment we co-create every day. Named after St Paul the Apostle, our school draws inspiration from his first letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 9:22), proudly living out our motto: “All to all in faith and learning.”

As a proud member of the systemic network of schools within the Catholic Diocese of Wollongong (CEDOW), everything we do is anchored in a shared mission to help every student find deep meaning, purpose, and continual growth.

A Faith-Filled, Values-Driven Community

Our identity is shaped by a living Catholic faith and the rich traditions of our charism linked to the Josephites, Dominicans and St Paul. We named our three colour houses after the three Saints who have inspired our story. St Paul (Blue House), St Mary MacKillop (Red House) and St Dominic (Gold House). We explicitly teach and celebrate core values that encourage our students to look outward and care for the world:

Excellence in Learning, Teaching, and Wellbeing

Presently, we operate as a close-knit, one-stream school of approximately 200 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. This size allows us to truly know every child. Aligning directly with the Diocese's Faith, Learning & Wellbeing Framework, our modern, balanced curriculum focuses on the whole child—spiritual, academic, social, emotional, physical, and creative.

Through Ongoing Cyclic Inquiry (OCI) and high-impact educational strategies, we maintain absolute rigour and high expectations. From explicit teaching in English and Mathematics to inquiry based learning across a range of key learning areas with opportunities to be creative through various mediums, we instill a lifelong love of learning while building resilience and self-efficacy.

In alignment with the Diocese's Life to the Full Framework, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. We proactively teach respectful relationships, personal responsibility, and child safety. Grounded in the absolute dignity of the human person, we empower students to develop vital social-emotional competencies so they can navigate peer relationships with empathy, grace, and integrity.

We firmly believe that parents and carers are the first and primary educators of their children. Guided by the CEDOW Parent-School Partnership Framework, we view our relationship with families as a collaborative journey grounded in mutual respect, trust, and regular communication.
